6 Days over due...

We thought it was going to happen yesterday! After about 8 hours of mild contractions, and much anticipation, they stopped. Never to return after 2pm. Our doctor has been pushing for us to induce labor and as she puts it "get on with our lives". Eric and I both feel it's important to allow Taylor to work his way out when he is good and ready. But he seems to be well on the way. The ultrasound I had today estimated him at around 7 pounds 8 ounces!! Pretty good size for a baby they thought was going to be small. They also checked his heart and gave me a fetal stress test. We both passed with flying colors, strong heart and low stress. All in all patience is key. I couldn't imagine being patient with a better person. Throughout my pregnancy Eric has been incredibly supportive. The bigger our baby got, the closer we grew together. Now we have a home and it's filled with toys and clothes and redskins paraphernalia, but most importantly we have filled it with love. I can't wait to bring Taylor home to bask him with what we've created.
